WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

My journey into leathercraft began as a child during a family holiday to Canada, where my parents bought me my very first leather carving starter kit. What started as a holiday souvenir quickly became a passion, and I spent countless hours learning the traditional art of leather carving and crafting.

A PASSION THAT NEVER LEFT

As life moved on, the hobby gradually faded into the background. One of the biggest challenges was simply finding reliable suppliers of quality leather and materials. Although my love of the craft never disappeared, opportunities to continue became limited.

A NEW CHAPTER

In recent years, that changed. After finally finding suppliers who could provide the materials needed, I was able to return to leathercraft, and my passion for the craft came back stronger than ever.

FROM HOBBIES TO BUSINESS

For more than ten years I have been creating leather goods for sale, and over the last few years the business has continued to grow through craft fairs, market stalls, events and online sales. Meeting customers and seeing their reaction to a finished piece remains one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every item I create is made entirely by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques. I do not use automated machinery. Every cut, every carved detail, every stitch and every application of dye is completed by hand using traditional tools. This means that no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

WHY I DO IT

Bags are my favorite items to create. Watching a flat piece of leather gradually transform into a finished handbag through carving, shaping, coloring and stitching is a process I find incredibly rewarding. Many people ask why I continue to make everything by hand, and the answer is simple: this is how these pieces were traditionally crafted. The time, care and attention invested into every item is what gives each piece its character and individuality.

TIME WELL SPENT

Each handbag typically takes around 10 days to complete, with several stages of carving, dyeing, finishing and stitching involved in the process
